There are two ways to do Mt.Rinjani trekking such
via Sembalun Village(East Lombok)
and
Senaru Village (North Lombok)
Even there are tow ways to get mt.rinjani most of the trekkers they start from sembalun and finish at senaru, if you star your trek program from semablun will be easier for you to reach rinjani summit and the trail is no so hard not much stip up way, but you will start to going up from the last post "Pada Balong" its takes 3 and half hours to sembalun crater rim ( First Base Camp).

And you will get easy to reach Sembalun Village(Starting Point) from all of your arival place in lombok, there are two kinds of transportations you can you such as Carter car and public transport, but is you not easy to get a public transport form notr lombok will be much easier from south lombok.
Sembalun village is 1115m above sea level located on the slove of mt.rinjani, and if you start your trek from sembalun you can do some Tourist Attractions and you can do Softrekking Program before you do your Rinjani Trekking to excesise your body and make your experience wide.
